Thanksgiving
Good Morning my dear teachers and fellow students, I am Vivian from class 2 senior 2. Today my topic is Thanksgiving.
If something with or without life has ever brought us happiness, then we will be grateful to it.
The moral philosophy of Adam Smith is always profound, but the examples are around us. Therefore, it is easy for us to understand the main meanings of the Theory of Moral Sentiments. Actually, the attitude we treat the things in the book is like the old saying: the essential thing we should have is a grateful heart.
There is an English locution: Thanksgiving is the most trivial of all the virtues and the devoid of gratitude is the worst of all the conducts. Compared with honesty and modesty, thanksgiving is easy to be ignored. However, it’s still the most significant. We always show our respect to the person who is grateful instead of the person who is rich but without thanksgiving. The Christian religion may be the most grateful religion. The Christians always give thanks to the god for food, clean water, almost everything. Although we can’t request all the people to believe in the God, we hope everyone has a thankful heart. Everyone and everything in our life is worth us being grateful to them, such as our parents, friends, even if the beautiful flowers and the crystal sky.
The examples mentioned above give us grace, encouragement and help, let us be full of positive energy. But apart from that, we will meet the troubles and tribulation. Also, we should thank this. There is a sentence in the "Old Man": life makes you black and blue, but later, where those injured will become our strongest areas of the body.Rousseau said: no thanks, no real virtue. Indeed, we should be
grateful to all, such as someone who just gave us a hand or help us achieve the goals or something not in existence but encourages us a lot.
Thanks for your listening.
