做时间的主人

高二（1）班 周颖坚

尊敬的各位老师，亲爱的同学们，早上好。

我是来自高二一班的周颖坚。今天我讲话的主题是如何做时间的主人。

在接下来的两周里，我们将会迎来圣诞节、元旦表演、元旦假期以及紧张的期末复习。如何合理处理学习与活动之间的关系，如何合理安排时间，成了至关重要的问题。

首先，我们要正确利用时间，明确“头悬梁锥刺股”这样的理念不值得提倡。最近一段时间里，很多同学因为元旦排练等活动耽误了做作业、复习的时间，晚上在宿舍开夜车，导致第二天的精力不集中，复习的效果也不好。

其次，要统筹安排时间。很多优秀的同学不仅学习成绩优异，而且积极组织、参加各种各样的活动。他们每天都会做一份时间计划表，将一天要完成的学习任务列出来，放在显眼的地方，每完成一项就在表上打一个勾。在制定计划时会按照各项任务的轻、重、缓、急分类，重要的事情要先做，次要的事情可随后处理。做计划时，要留有余地，正所谓计划赶不上变化。因此制订计划时要留出部分时间，适时作出调整。

再次，要注意效率。哈佛大学有句名言：学习的好坏不在于坐在课桌前时间的长短，而在于你坐着的时候在做什么。因此，做作业时要调整自己的状态，高效地完成学习任务。这样把效率提高，就等于节约了时间。

其次，要把零碎的时间放在眼里。“不积跬步，无以至千里，不积小流，无以成江河”，同学们不妨把英语单词、或者化学公式抄在小纸条上，课前、课后、排队打饭的时候拿出来背一背，见缝插针，完成一些学习上的小任务，可以把整块的时间留出来做练习题或者参加一些活动。

临近期末，活动又很多，同学们就特别容易焦急，心情紧张、浮躁，学习也就没有了效率，其实我觉得没有必要过于担心，从今天开始，把每天的学习任务踏踏实实地落实下来，做到忙而不急，急而不乱，适当地参加一些体育锻炼和其他活动，做到学习与活动两不误。

学习固然重要，但各种活动对于我们也同样重要，因为通过活动我们的综合能力会得到提升，因此希望同学们都能正确处理好活动和学习的关系，合理安排好时间，做时间的主人。

How to make use of study time

    Good morning, my dear teachers and fellows
    Today I wanna talk about how to make use of study time.
    As we know, to many of us, it isn’t the burdens of today that drive us mad. It is the regrets of ‘unfinishment’ over yesterday and the fear of tomorrow that will be asked to do. Regret and fear are twin thieves who rob us of today. Thus, making good use of the time on study plays a great part in our lives.
    Above all else, I look for the attitude towards study because thoughts can impact our mind. A positive attitude makes us discover the opportunities to pursue our goals, but a negative one causes us just to notice problems and sabotage our plans.
    Also, it is remarkable that a suitable plan is efficient and effective instead of a plan which is hardly reachable even if you have jumped high enough. Only with every single step, can you cover a long distance.
    Besides, when you have already made a plan, you have to take actions. Dreaming about the delicious food you want to eat is great, but if you’re really to taste it, you have to shop for the ingredients and then you have to start cooking. Such examples can been seen everywhere: some of my classmates stay at the class continuing study after lunch while others are taking rest in the dormitory. With this period of the time, they can finish their homework, review their lessons or even go for IELTS,TOEFL or SAT.I have never heard their complaints about lack of study time or too much homework. It is because their excellent arrangement of time that they are running on their ways high-spiritedly.
    So, how to make use of your time? My point is to have a positive attitude, to have a suitable plan and to take real actions. Depend upon it; it will be soon enough to harvest.
