Sport Meeting and Teamwork Spirit

Good morning my dear teachers and fellow students.
It’s my great honor here today to give you a speech.
We’ve just had our sports meeting three weeks ago. All of us had enjoyed ourselves during those three days. Those who participated in the competition had done a good job. Our sport meeting was full of laughters and cheers.
Meanwhile, those students who didn’t take part in the competition had also made great contribution to their classes and our school. What impressed me the most is that there were plenty of volunteers went to help with the judges’ daily work. They didn’t get any in return but they were willing to do the stuffs. Because of their self-sacrifice, our sports meeting had been going through more successfully.
However, we still have some weakness to conquer. As what we have talked about for many years, environment is always the toughest problem that really matters. Every time we go pass the rubbish bins or the tracks we can always see some rubbish thrown out of the bins or laying on the tracks. Although we have made much progress in protecting the environment of our school field while attending the sports meeting these few years, we still get a great deal of details to pay attention to.
Besides the environment, how we behaved would really have a serious influence on all the races. We were expected to behave better when we wanted to give some encouragement to our classmates who were in the competitions. We should stand out of the line which was made to separate the area of the competition with the normal ground in order not to make a bad effect on the results that came out. But how many students have noticed the warning of our PE teachers? Did we just ignore them and continued to make a crazier behavior? I think it’s time for us to think about this problem carefully.
At last, I want to share the final topic with you. That is teamwork spirit. Have u ever questioned why to hold some classes’ racings among the whole sport meeting? To tell the truth, it’s because our school really has a strong will to build up our teamwork spirit. H.E. Luccock had said that” No one can whistle a symphony, it takes the whole orchestra to play it” .We all understand the importance of being teamwork spirited so why not start out small from now on to make ourselves a real team-player? I believe that teamwork does not only stay on the sports meeting but it will pass onto our daily life and make our relationships with others more harmonious.
This is my speech today and I hope it may do some help to all of you. Thanks for your listening.
