各位領導,各位家長,各位老師和同學們,大家晚上好!
齐:Ladies and gentlemen, teachers and classmates, good evening!
蔡:以下,由我\周游力和蔡正昕向大家講述我們在加拿大11周時間內的學習情况.
文: Please allow us to introduce some interesting things during the 11 weeks in Canada about our English studying.

蔡:來到加拿大的第一天,最重要的內容應屬考試了.
周: The most important thing that first day to Canada was the exam.
雖說是夏令營,同學們也不敢玩笑對待.
文:Although it’s just summer camp, students treated seriously.
而且這次的考試是一次分班考試,充分說明了學校注重學生的個別培養.
周:In addition, the exam was a dividing-class exam, which conveys that the school pay attention to the individual education.

蔡: 看到黑板上的June.08 2006沒有,那天就是我們第一天上學.
文: See the “June.08 2006” on the blackboard? That’s day that the first day to school.
蔡:坐在黑板旁邊的外國人就是我們美麗的Sonya老師, 也是我們三個人的班主任.
周: The foreigner sitting beside the blackboard was our beautiful teacher, Miss Sonya, who was also our class teacher.
蔡:第一部分,教師介紹
文:Part 1, Teacher’s Introduction
蔡: 對了,既然說到了老師,就讓我們一一把她們介紹一下吧.
周: Right, we have mentioned the teachers just now, let’s introduce all of them to you.
蔡: 第一位是來自克羅地亞的混血老師, Ms Sonya.
文: The first one is Ms Sonya from Croatia.
蔡: Sonya 老師很苗條,戴著一副掉下來的耳環;而她的衣服也是時常變化的,對我們而言,她仿佛就是一種時尚.
周 : Ms Sonya was very slender, wearing a long earrings that falling down; and her clothes always changed, she’s like the fashion for us.
蔡: Ms Sonya 是我們C班的班主任,她認真負責.
文: Ms Sonya was the class teacher of class C, she was earnest and responsible to our study.
像有一次, 老師布置我們任務去練習口語,并發給我們一人一張紙,我們以爲只是平常的玩玩,隨便說說就行,老師才不理妳.
周:For example, the she ordered us to practice oral English as a task and gave us a paper each person. We thought it was just playing. She wouldn’t mind you were doing well or not.
沒想到Ms Sonya一次次的在課室中查看我們練習的情况,還問我們有什麽問題并和我們一起加入討論.
文:however; unexpectedly, the teacher walked around the classroom and asked us whether had some questions or not and joined into our discussion.
到那是,我們才開始認真地對待口語練習,也意識到了它的重要性.
周:At that time, we began to pay attention to the oral English practice and identify the importance of it.
蔡: 同時, 她又時活潑的.她的課總吸引着我們去聽,因爲是那麽的有趣.
文: In the meantime, she was active. Her class always attracted us to listen it very carefully.
像是時常出一些問題讓我們去思考: 你喜歡哪各國家;假如你可以到那裏去,你會怎麽游歷?
周:like sometimes she would gave us some question to let us to think about it: Which country do you like best; If you get a chance to go there, how will you spend your time?
對于愛想像的我們,這些問題總是好玩的,我們願意用自己的想像力去給老師一個滿意的回答,而每次,老師也會給予我們相應的鼓勵.
文:We were some imaginable children and always thinks that those questions were very funny. We’d like to use our imagination to think about it, and the teacher would also gave us some encouragement.
更有,她會讓我們去一些娛樂雜誌上剪下圖片作爲海報的素材,像明星們的手鏈,她們的鞋子,等等等等. 女孩子尤其喜歡這些東西.(補充照片)
周:Furthermore, she would made us to tear some entertainment tabloid magazine picture as the resource of our posters, like some star’s accessories, their shoes and so on. Especially, girls liked it very much.
蔡: 接下來,就讓我們來介紹B班的班主任的Ms G, 同時也是我們的語法老師. 她爲人很好,經常給我們一些糖果作爲獎勵.
文: Next, let’s introduce the class teacher of class B, Ms G, who was also our grammar teacher. She’s a very kind peson and always encouraged us by giving us some candies.
雖說主教語法,但她很注意我們的口語,記得有一次,她的問題讓我記憶猶新.
周:Although she taught our grammar mainly, she cared about oral language. I still remembered her questions.
是這樣的,她把小紙條髪給每人,上面是這樣說的:假如青少年統領世界政壇,將會怎樣?假如每人擁有同樣的智力水平,將會怎樣?
文:she distributed little pads to everyone, it saids that: If the teenagers rule the politic world, what will be? If everyone has the same intellectual grade, what will it be?
蔡:G的課同樣很有趣,因爲她的課可以稱得上是游戲課.
周: G’s lesson was also very interesting, same as Miss Sonya because her class should be a game class.
語法本身是枯燥的,但通過游戲,語法知識很快就被我們接受了,像是投籃等.
文:Grammar was boring ,but through the game, grammar was gained quickly by ourselves, like basketball game.
蔡: 最後,讓我們介紹一下A班的班主任,Miss M.
周: At last, let’s talk about the class teacher of class A, Miss M.
蔡: Miss M 雖然与我們不熟,但通過對AB班同學的詢問,我們還是暸解一些關于她的情况.
文: Although Miss M was not so familiar to us, after asking the students in AB class , we still know some thing about her.
蔡: Miss M 言語幽默,与學生很合得來,它雖然有時板著一張臉,但對于英語教學却采用一種輕鬆\愉快得方法.
周:Miss M was an out-going person and full of comic, although, apparently, she’s so strict that almost scared us, for English studying, she thought happiness was the most important thing.
比如她假裝隨便說話,与同學聊天,聊了很久,到了最後,才公布說:”這是這節課得主要內容.”把同學驚呆了,却不得不佩服老師得方法.
文:Like she pretended chatting to the classmates, after a very long time, she declared:” What we have just talked about is the main lesson of the class.” The students astonished by that but also respected the teacher’s method.
蔡: 加拿大的課堂是輕鬆且充滿趣味的,游戲則是一個必不可少的部分.下面,就讓我們來談一下讓我們最難忘的游戲。
周: The class in Canada was relaxed and full of fun, which means that game was a very large part of it. Next, let’s introduce our games.
蔡: 請看圖, 知道上面是什么嗎? 是一個名叫Bingo的游戲,當你所圈的數字与老師所說的一樣時,你就是贏傢.
文: Please look at the picture, you know what it is? It’s a game called Bingo, when the numbers you circled were the same as the teacher’s talking, you are the winner.
蔡: 同學們很喜歡這個游戲,因爲當你成爲贏傢時, 就會得到大獎. 那當然是同學們心中的最大的願望拉.
周: Students really like the game because when you are the winner, you will get a prize, which was the biggest wish that we had.
像圖中這位同學,表面不笑,心裏不知多高興
文:Look at the student in the picture, she doesn’t smile, but, inwardly, of course she’s very happy.
蔡: 除了在課堂上的努力之外,復習也是非常必要的. 晚自習時間就是我們除了在課堂上的第二次學習時間.
周: Except studying in the class, revision was necessary too.
蔡: 每天晚上,我們有兩個小時的晚自習時間;
文: Every night, we had two-hour-time to study;
在這兩個小時里, 看看同學們, 有的在整理詞彙, 有的完成國內布置的數學預習任務, 有的在看自己的書,還有的在寫日記.
周:during this time, look at the students, some were arranging the vocabulary, some are finishing the math homework, some are reading their own books.
兩個小時的時間過得充實而美好.
文:We spent the time richfully.
蔡: 介紹完晚自習,就讓我們來講講我們的Poster.
周: Finshing the self-study’s introduction, let’s get into our posters.
蔡: 首先,做海報是要選好一個自己中意的人物, 準備好資料,就可以開始做了.
文:First, people need to choose a figure of a celebrity as the surbject of the poster, having adjusting the information, it’s ok to begin.
像圖中的兩位同學,他們兩的人物是艾微儿.
周:See the two students in the photograph, they were going to do “Avril”.
在開始做海報之前,老師還會專門抽出一節課的時間讓我們去電腦室查資料, 可以是文字的,也可以是圖片資料.
文:Before beginning doing the poster, teachers would lead us to the computer lab for doing some research, it could be some articles and pictures.
蔡: 看見同學們手中的熒光筆了嗎? 看見他們在雪白的大紙上圖圖畫畫, 同學之間互相合作, 真認真啊!
周: Do you see the open being held in their hands? Do you see they are drawing on the brand new paper, they cooperated together consistently, it’s really good job!
蔡: 與此同時,老師還會在旁邊做輔導工作,幫助同學們, 而我們也不得不相信他們拿不到好成績了.
文: Simultaneously, teachers would be a tutor helping students to finish their poster, also, we had to believe, they would gain as much as they paid.
蔡: 知道我們做海報是爲了什麽嗎?
周: You know what’s the purpose that we did the poster?
文:當然是我們最重要的期末考試拉.
蔡 Of course it’s our final exam!
周: 對了!
蔡: 在加拿大的期末攷試, 讓我們真正見識到了什麽是素質的培養.
文: From the final exam in Canada, we finally knew what is the real human’s-quality-education.
在加拿大,期末考試就等于一場演講.
周:During the time in Canada, the final exam was a speech, a lecture.
同學們拿著自己做的海報, 大膽的把各自人物的傳奇經歷告訴大家.
Students taking their poster telling their celebrity’s deeds to each one.
蔡: 像圖上的Sally同學,也就是她. 她通過了這次考試,不僅鍛煉了勇氣,而且開始注重創新能力,因爲在考試中,創新也是占了很大一個分量.
文: Like me in the picture, after the exam, my timidity of speaking was suddenly mitigated, and I began to pay attention to my imagination, to my creation, because those took a large percentage of marks in the exam.
蔡: 其實在日常生活中,我們也在与人接觸的同時鍛煉了口語.
周:Actually, in daily life, we also got touch with foreigners to speak.
蔡: 比如在安省科學宮, 同學積極參與造紙的活動.
文: For instance, students took part into the making-paper activity in Ontario Science Center,
在參與造紙活動的時候, 同學們抓住機會,与外國人交流.
周:during the time they were making it, got a chance to talk with the foreigners.
蔡: 又如這一間天使商店, 充滿了慈祥的色彩.
而我們的同學也起了好奇心, 紛紛詢問店主是什么促使她有這股衝動開這樣一家天使概念商店.
文: Look at the angel store , can you the peaceful atmosphere? Same, our students had a large curiosity about it, they asked the owner of the store:” What prompted you to open the angel store?”
在談話中, 同學与店主成爲了”素不相識”的朋友, 又增加說英語的勇氣和興趣.
周:After the conversation, out student and the owner of the store became an “unknown” friends.
蔡: 很快,三個月就過去了. 我們迎來了最不想迎來的最後一天.
文:Time past quickly, suddenly we found that three months had already gone and the last day was coming that the day most unwanted.
蔡: 老師給我們吃Pizza, 雖然Pizza我們吃了很多次, 但最后一天的Pizza吃的却特別不同.
周: We got a piece of pizza on the last day. Although we had eaten so many times , this time was the most special and unforgettable one.
蔡: 下午,是學期的畢業典禮.
文:In the afternoon, it’s the graduation ceremony.
歡快的Wake Up與我們的心情形成了强烈的對比, 大家不捨的離開加拿大,這也是我們在加拿大的以前的時間里不曾想到的.
周:The bright song ”Wake up” has a sharp contrast with our feelings. We didn’t want to leave Canada, which was what we hadn’t expect before.
大家捨不得那些陪伴我們的Staff, 他們幫助了我們許多, 教會了我們許多, 他們成爲我們一生難忘的朋友.
文:We didn’t want to leave the Staff whom always accompanied us, they helped us, they taught us and became our friends, lifelong, deeply.
我們捨不得我們的老師,她們的教導將會讓我們終生收益.
周:We didn’t want to leave our teacher, their instructions and tuitions would always be remembered.
當要離開她們的時候,我們每個人都哭得泪流滿面.
文:When we were going to airport, tears suddenly broke out and spread our faces.
蔡:讓我們再看一下這張照片,再看看我們的老師.(停3秒锺)
周:At last, let’s take a look at the picture, let their figures be engraved in our memory.(Stop for 3 seconds)
蔡:我們在加拿大的每一天都是快樂且充實,我們在加拿大的英語學習是終生收益的.
文:Every day in Canada was happy , there’s no day hollow or empty, our English knowledge was wholesome for our study.
這一切,都離不開校方\家長和老師的支持.在此,我們再次感謝他們!
周:All of these, were supported by schools, the teachers and our parents. Now , let us just say “Thank you to all of you!”
