月圆人团圆
高二（10）班 夏倩仪
尊敬的各位老师、亲爱的同学们：
早上好！我是来自高二10班的夏倩仪，今天我发言的主题是：月圆人团圆。
又一年中秋佳节，在无数学子的心中，此刻对家的渴望亦多于平时。家是我们心中的牵挂，是我们疲惫时休息的港湾，是无条件支持我们永远的大后方……你们是否也与我一样，都盼望着一份团圆，一份与家人围桌赏月的温馨惬意？
或许你从没有思考该如何向父母表达你对他们的爱，从没有想过该用怎样的言语去赞美父母……借着中秋时分，请想想曾经的点点滴滴，想想父母为我们操劳而染白了双鬓，他们被负担压弯了脊梁，他们的年轮里刻满了艰辛，他们的岁月里充满了沧桑，他们满腔的愁苦，却得不到儿女的体谅，他们的关怀，被一句句敷衍冷落……他们受了太多的委屈，却总会自我安慰，他们用爱去包容这一切，用伤痕累累的心将我们地紧紧护住……想想这些，都告诉我们需要感恩，要懂得回报。
他们或许只是需要我们多一句关心的问候，少一份斗嘴争吵，多一次贴心的谈话，少一次无理取闹，经常与他们分享你的点点滴滴，经常陪伴在他们的身旁……我们能给予他们的，或许是支撑他们的力量。我们要懂得父母的艰辛，所以我们更要为之努力，在校好好学习，不辜负他们的期望。
另外中秋灯会将在下周21号晚举行，在此，我希望同学们在欢庆中秋的同时，能够做一名文明的活动参与者，保持会场的卫生和纪律，预祝老师们、同学们中秋快乐！

Show our respect and love to our parents
熊一凡 from class nine Senior two
Dear teachers and fellow students, good morning, I’m 熊一凡 from class nine Senior two.
The Mid Autumn Festival is coming. We have studied in ES for more than ten years. Most of us spend Mid Autumn Festival in the school with our best friends, enjoying the excitement from the Mid Autumn Lantern party. Happy as you are , have you ever thought of our parents who are waiting for our call.
We’d better show our respect and love to our parents frequently, not just picking up the passion for the special time. They brought us up. Should we do something to make them feel happy? At least let them know, we are grateful to them and always keep them on our mind. We shall never forget their care. Man is an emotional animal. A person without feeling is not a complete person. In this materialistic world true love is deadly needed. If a person doesn’t value true love, he or she is not a healthy person.
We have never thought of how to use the proper words to praise our parents until we entered senior high school. We’ve never thought about how to describe the parents’ love until we entered senior high school. Parents’ care are just like a large book. No matter how many pages you have covered, you still can benefit a lot from it, which contributes to our development. Therefore, we need to do something meaningful in return for their great love and care.
