父亲，一个值得我们永远感谢的人

    尊敬的老师，亲爱的同学们，大家早上好。

    今天我讲话的主题是——父亲，一个值得我们永远感谢的人。

    在这个世上，有两件事并不能等。第一是行善，第二就是尽孝。

从我们出生到现在，有一个人一直默默呵护着我们，他对我们有着深深的爱却又不流露于言表，他用自己最厚实的肩膀，扛起了整个家庭，他就是我们最敬爱最伟大的父亲。

可能大家也都知道，再过三天，我们的父亲，将会迎来那个属于他们的节日，而作为子女的我们，是否也应该给予我们的父亲一声亲切的问候？

也许我们总以为，自己在一天天的长大，成熟的我们已经有能力去面对外面世界的风雨，殊不知在父母眼中还只是孩子的我们，仍然需要他们的操心。我们总以为自己已是一只能搏击长空的雄鹰，却还是在让爸妈辛苦，还是在让他们驱驰，不是为本身，而是为我们，为我们这些还没有长大，还看不到将来的孩子驱驰 。

与母亲不同，父亲的话语总是不多，但是他的行动却又是那么的真实，那么地无私。有时候当我有事情闷在心里时，我会一个人在晚上出去喝杯咖啡，看到老爸发过来一条信息，十二点前要回家，我和妈妈等你回来。每次收到爸爸妈妈这样的信息，心就揪的紧紧的，因为打动，看着爸妈平常平凡却踏实的话，心是暖的，更是痛的。

同学们曾有否察觉过，在我们逐渐长大懂事的过程中，他们也已经在慢慢变老，似乎我们还沉浸在享用着父爱的温情和奇特，享用着家庭的庇护和忘我当中，而此时他们的鬓上却早已多了几根白发，当年那个威武高大的老爸已经存在于回忆当中。他们也渐渐地上了年纪，父亲的啤酒肚已经凸显出来，睡眠和食欲也不如往前了。

而如今，作为子女的我们，在父亲节来临之际，并不需要有太多的甜言蜜语，回到家后，为父亲泡上一杯茶，为父亲捶一次背，再加上几句轻声的问候，便足以让常年奔波的父亲感到舒心和贴切了。

又是一年父亲节，又是一个春秋，又是一季，光阴在流逝，而我们在成长。老爸，希望节日快乐，我会好好努力，成为你跟妈妈的依靠，等我长大了，我会带你们出去旅游，带你们到处去玩。但愿你们永远都是那么年轻，永远都是那么快乐，你们要好好的，安康的，愉快的、年轻的活着，等着你们儿女的长大来感谢、报答你们。

Happy Father’s Day
Ye Qiutong, Class 2 Senior 1

    Good morning my dear fellows. I’m Ye Qiutong from Class 2 Senior 1. Today my topic is Father’s Day.
    16th the June is a memorable day, the annual Father's Day. This is the time in a year when a son can express feelings like love, admiration, respect and esteem to his father through a greeting card and so on. Even though fathers are important in society, the celebration of Father’s Day is dwarfed by Mother’s Day. Much less attention is paid to this day because westerners, in general, view the role of mother as more important than that of father. It is changing in recent years, though, as more books and TV shows depict the role of a strong, yet sensitive, father able to successfully communicate with his children and wife.
    As the old saying says, deep sea motherly love, fatherly love heavy as a mountain. It is said that the selection of Father's Day is a demand of everybody because the sun, which is the most heated one, is a symbol of father to give their children love that hot. Years, such as the fingers over the water, like, before I knew it, we have grown up, while the father tree is gradually aging, and even the new leaves are no longer full of vitality. Annually on the third Sunday is father's holiday, let us sincerely say: Father, I love you! Happy Father's Day!
    Now, with the final exams approaching, I suggest we seize the time to study hard. With excellent results as to the father's gift, I believe fathers at that time have the most beautiful smile! This Sunday, let’s make a phone call to our father to express our love.
