学好英语，成功走向世界

尊敬老师、亲爱的同学们：

早上好！

今天我讲话的题目是“学好英语，成功走向世界”。我们广外外校的办学理念是——“培养走向世界的现代人”。我们要成功走向世界，必须在学好汉语的同时，掌握一门外语。当今社会，是一个国际化和信息化的社会，学会一门外语是十分重要的。既然我们已经越来越多地使用“地球村”这个概念，那么一个村落里的人就得交流，英语就是十分流行的交流工具。在互联网发展的时代，英语显得尤为重要。

我想，很多同学都曾问过这样一个问题：我们为什么要学习英语？或许对我们大多数人来说，学习英语只是一种任务，仅仅是为了应付考试才不得不学习的。可是，我想告诉大家：英语的用处远不止应付考试获得学位这么简单。虽然联合国有六种官方语言，尽管汉语是世界上使用人数最多的语言，但是，世界上应用最广泛的语言却是英语。中国的人口最多，中国想要发展就离不开世界，我们要想在世界立足，在世界范围内寻求自己的出路，不会那种应用最广泛的语言怎么去了解其他地区？有的同学可能说，我不出国，以后生活中不需要用到英语。那我们退一步来说，我们个人想要在世界上闯出一片天地，仅仅局限于国内是远远不够的，闭关锁国的历史虽然已成为过去，但它却时时刻刻告戒着我们要学习外国的先进科学技术来发展自己提高自己！可是，如果语言都不通，甚至连最基本的交流都做不到，我们又如何来谈学习与发展呢？怎么可能与别人沟通、合作。同学们，学好英语并不难。只要我们树立信心，大胆开口说英语，我们就会成为英语学习道路上的强者。本周，英语节的系列活动即将拉开帷幕，英语歌曲大赛、初一初二英语配音大赛、初二英语词汇比赛、高一高二英语戏剧大赛等一系列活动都为外校师生搭建了一个学好英语、用好英语的平台。

同学们，让我们积极投身于“英语节”的各项活动中去吧！让我们一起大胆开口说英语吧！让世界走进学校，让我们走向世界。

    Good morning ,everyone I'm Tang qiantong from English club. Today let's talk about manias. In the 1960s and 70s. There was Beatles manias. Hysterical teenagers, crying screaming pandemonium . Sport manias, deafening crowds -all for one idea-" get the ball in the net!" Nowadays,The world has a new mania. A mania for learning English . There are two billion people trying to learn English worldwide. Basically china has become the largest English -learning country. So why English, various reason come to one word- opportunity . However, English would not like a tsunami washing away other languages. Your native language is your life. But certainly with English you can become part of a wider conversation. For example, if you think you are really a good english learner.you will not feel sorry for your poor english skills and boost your confidence when the activity Model United Nations comes to you. We have been English a trademark of our school. We set a particular festival to advocate students to show your English . So During These days, why not just throw away some complicated grammar structures and dive into English. TV series, an English drama, a talk with foreigners, a dubbing of a movie those things will benefit us a lot.  Last week, a few of my classmates kept imitating the British accent and American accent to each other. We all burst into laughter when it came to some funny and strange pronunciation. And we really enjoy ourself in the process.  Now let me end my speech in one sentence-Make English part of our life but not only a tool for getting high scores. Thank you!
