伴着冉冉升起的朝阳，温暖的阳光洒在每一位学子的身上。我们带着庄重和骄傲的神色，在国旗的飞扬下，庆祝祖国70周年快乐。

本次担任升旗的初三九班是一个由41位同学组成的富有朝气的和谐大家庭。我们乐于思考，积极进取，有着明确的奋斗目标，不断在乐学爱学活学的氛围中发展自己。九班有着严格的班规，得力的班干，我们互相监督促进共同发展。在遇到困难时，我们携手克服，在荣获奖项后，我们共同分享。九班的每位同学，都有着鲜明的特点和个性，这使得九班成为了一个独具特色，有着深深凝聚力的班级。坚信初三九班会在班主任罗满玲老师的带领下继续拼搏，越战越勇。

下一周就是伟大祖国诞辰70周年的盛大节日，我们为祖国的强大而自豪，为你我是一名中华儿女而骄傲。

通过4位同学的朗诵，我们能感受到祖国母亲正在不断发展，日益强大！我们作为青少年，要更加努力学习，自我创新，从生活点点滴滴开始，为祖国的未来打下坚实基础！

The National Day is coming soon and I’m excited to stand here to give you a presentation about it. Do you know the reason why we have the National Day? Let me share the origin of this holiday with you. It was first celebrated by people in the Qing Dynasty. In May, AD 1644, General Duo Er Gun defeated Li Zi Cheng and entered Beijing. When it was 19th September, The Northern War was taking place, therefore, the emperor decided to wait till October to have the Founding Ceremony in order to celebrate the victory that was brought by the General. And that day was exactly the first of October.  I am so proud that whenever people talk about China, they consider China one of the strongest countries in the world. We, China, have the most advanced high tech, such as the nuclear power and the industrial system. At the same time, we have the superb ability to regulate the economic system combined with the market which provide us the opportunity to compete with other countries. This October will be the 70th birthday of our country --- China. This land, which has been loved by countless people, indulges the glory of the blood. Chinese people who once have been humiliated and killed were never been forgotten. Every moment of theirs does not end the confrontation and struggle. The five-star red flag contains our efforts that people have been contributed to the country. Under the guidance of the Communist Party of China, we created a new China. However, I am also sad that what happened in Hong Kong recently. I bet you all know the news about it. I feel painful to see what the rioters have been doing to Hong Kong, which is a definitely a part of China. I understand that some citizens in Hong Kong may not be satisfied with their living condition, however, not only is that damaging our country, the rioters are also damaging the image of China worldwide. I deeply hope this could end soon and we can have the peaceful China again. Happy birthday, my country --- China! Thank you.
